AFK for an Achievement

This 51 stage multi, designed to take groups of Geocaches a weekend to complete was placed less than 1 year after we started and within 6 months won the award for Best Puzzle / Challenge geocache by the regional geocaching club.
AR_The Original Beta Test
(GC7NRB5)
GeoWoodstock 2018 featured a number of augmented reality experiences as a main activity of the event. All of the augmented reality was custom-built, with no special tools involved. We tracked more than 10,000 unique devices that interacted with these experiences over there course of 6 hours at the event. The original Beta Test for these experiences has been made into a Geocache while Geocaching HQ did a 9-month research study into AR Geocaches, following GeoWoodstock 2018.
Shawnee Lookout Cache
(GC31A)
Hidden on February 18th 2001, Shawnee Lookout Cache (GC31A) is the oldest active Geocache in the State of Ohio. The cache is still hidden in the same location, with its original ammo can container.
With more than 1,000 awarded Favorite Points, it is in the top 40 most celebrated Geocaches in all of North America!
AFK adopted Shawnee Lookout Cache (GC31A) on March 23 2018 and continues to maintain this historical geocache for the community.

• Host/Director of the 13th annual “Midwest Open Geocaching Adventure”, the worlds largest Geocaching Competition MEGA Event.
